What an LWC group offers:
Respite. From fear, worry, insecurity, inadequacy, needing something bigger or better to make the anxiety go away. An antidote to the relentless pursuit of More. (One small example: as our transition tool from values clarification to money clarification, we ask participants to read a portion of Timothy Miller's book How to Want What You Have—and that's not How to Have What You Want, much to the chagrin of TV.)
The LWC group counseling program pays attention to the needs of the human spirit when it comes to decision making on jobs and careers.
The influence of an LWC group is often subtle. It's cumulative. It helps you tune into a quiet, sure voice that is too often drowned out by the clamor of the outside world and its dissatisfactions. We believe every person can define and find his or her life's work—the purposeful and satisfying work that some inner voice can already declare, if only it can be heard.*
An LWC group is a static-free, commercial-free environment. With program listings that are good for you!
* There is a blog entry in the LWC "family of blogs" that elaborates on this concept. Read more. |
